Anna & Sophia

I was so amazed when Sophia was counting the sheeps and goats in one of the computer games i was playing.  In the past, she would count.  1, 2, 4, 8,…..this time she actually did the 1, 2, 3 correctly.  I am super proud of her.   Maybe those DVD that she has been watching is really helping her.  She has been talking more and more each day.  She would point at things and ask me what that is time to time.  Although she’ll forget the word really fast.  But if i repeat time to time.  She would have the idea of how the things should sound.  I can’t wait till she could talk in full sentences.

H&M is all about Denim! Denim! Denim!!!  We all love and wear them.  Who doesn’t love them.  We all have at least something in our closet that are denim material.  They are fashionable and perfect for everyday wear.  Now they are coming out with a collection all about….what else…Blue…blue and more blue.

Ok i admit it.  I’m a sucker for beautiful things.  I get mesmerizes when i see really beautiful clothing.  Like i have to have it right away.   If i can’t have it like this collection of Marchesa Fall 2010.  I would have to just endure it by staring at the collection until i get sick of it.  Which i really doubt.  It is so beautifully made.

Every women on earth wants to look beautiful and these are definitely dresses that will make anyone gorgeous.  This got to be on my top five favorite collection for 2010.

One of my great friend recommended the leap frog DVDs for Sophia.  She figures since Sophia watches T.V the whole day anyway.  Why not watch something educational.  Which i agree.  So i gotten her the letters and sounds, numbers and colors DVDs.  I watched it with her.   They make it easy and fun for little kids to remember their ABC’s and their sounds.  I absolutely love this DVD and so does Sophia.  She has been watching it over and over again and i could tell she has improved a little.  I asked her which letter make what sound.  She actually knows some of them.

I am all about home made stuff.  I have the most sensitive skin therefore i have to be very careful what i put on my face.  During the winter i have the most cracked, dry skin everrrrr.  As i was browsing through youtube.com.   Came by one of my favorite person on youtube.  Michelle Phan.  She was talking about dry skin and how you could make an easy homemade face scrub.  So i thought it wouldn’t hurt to try and is super easy and inexpensive.

I made it last night and it was great.  No breakout and no dry skin. Super duper easy to make.  Love it !!!

According to People.com british fashion designer Alexander McQueen, 40, was found dead at his London home on Thursday morning, his office confirms.  His family says in a statement to PEOPLE. “At this stage it is inappropriate to comment on this tragic news beyond saying that we are devastated and are sharing a sense of shock and grief with Lee’s family.”

I am truly sadden to hear about a great loss in the fashion industry world.  I thought he had exquisite style.  The fashion industry will truly miss him for sure.

McQueen was expected to present his latest collection on March 9 during Paris Fashion Week. One of his contemporary lines, McQ, is scheduled to be shown at New York Fashion Week on Thursday afternoon.

Everybody is buzzing about the 23 year old Wes Gordon collection, Oscar de la Renta and Tom Ford’s intern.  I love the whole collection.  I hope we will get to see more of his work in the future.

The 23 year old Wes Gordon is attending at Central Saint Martins.  “The collection,” he told Vogue, “was inspired by all the beautiful girls I know or wish I knew, like Lauren Bacall. These women exude a modern elegance, wearing exquisitely tailored clothes with a certain twist and edge — not unlike themselves. My goal is to design pieces that combine creativity and fun.”  One lambskin and wool jacket was listed in the show notes with “Ziggy lame” sleeves — dubbed such, Gordon noted, because “Ziggy Stardust” was playing in the background at the time.  The designer is nothing if not exacting: a pink chiffon dress was all hand-tucked, and the collection’s buttons were “done by the jeweler down the street” because “nothing should be an afterthought.”

Went to Target recently and found these cute Paul Frank outfit for newborn till 12 months old i think.  Well at least that’s what i saw that was left.  They are so cute.  I wish they had these when Sophia was a baby.  And some other cute summer wear.  Super adorable.

This is truly one of my favorite toy i have gotten for Sophia.  A playhouse that Sophia actually fit inside.  The Rose Petal Cottage is by Playskool.  I found this at T.J Maxx on sale. It is super duper cute.  I actually manage to even fit myself in there because Sophia insisted i play inside with her.  Plus i wanted to know how it feels to be inside this playhouse.  I wish i had one of these when i was little. I must admit.  It took me about an hour to put everything together.  But it was well worth it.  They even have a inflatable chair.  I wish i have a bigger house to buy their other parts.  It is too cute.  I might have to transform Sophia’s room into a make believe playhouse.  Ha! Ha!

Thanks T.J Maxx for the gift card and Wendy for bringing me to the T.J Maxx Spring/Summer 2010 preview event.  Had a wonderful time there.  They have great stuff there, will definitely keep my eyes on their Spring collection.
