Eye Brow Extension

eye&brow

There’s really nothing that cannot be extended now a days.  From nails, to hair and eyelash.  Now you could also add eye brow extension to the list.  Completely Bare Spa in NYC is now offering brow extensions.

According to Shape magazine ” First, they snip a few strands of your hair – the amount is minuscule – then they trim them down to brow-size pieces.  Next, they attach each one to your brow line using tweezers and an adhesive similar to faux-eyelash glue.  The extensions can last up to a month and cost $385.”

I am officially drained out.  Sophia was never a great sleeper, but last night she beat the all the high record.  Felt like she cried like ten million times.  Didn’t get much sleep at all.  If it was just one night crying like the way she did.  That would have been fine.  But she been at it for couple of weeks already.  Night terror is one thing, but driving me crazy is a whole other thing.  Mommy not happy…..there will be no peace in the house.  Well…i’ll try to stay calm.  But i am definitely pushing it right now.   Sophia is going to turn 3.  Aren’t kids suppose to be sleeping pretty well by age three no matter how bad they used to be.  What happen to mine? special case??

Chanel Couture Spring 2010

I review the entire collection of the Chanel couture spring 2010.  Is not Karl Lagerfeld usual signature black and white collection, is more like silver.  The heart-shaped hair style remains me of Louis Vuitton “the rabbit ears”.

Review by Sarah Mower ” The show was a mix of romanticism, space age, and incredible eye-tricking handwork—as hard to fix in one place as the mercury that seemed to be running through the seams. The clothes ranged from shorts suits to shifts, from frothy, cocooning bubbles to liquid togas. In some places, the embroideries looked like smashed glass or molten metal; in others, jewelry itself became part of the structure: A halter dress was suspended from a crystal choker, and a shoulder strap became almost indistinguishable from a diamond necklace.”

Karl Lagerfeld quote “I don’t believe in avant-garde clothes for a future that will never happen. Fashion is always now.”

IMG_0892

Now a days.  Most sodas are using artificial flavors or corn syrup.  We forgot how soda taste like using the real stuff.  But for limited time, Pepsi are using REAL SUGAR.  It really does taste different.  Try to look for the can near you and try it.

My weekend.

IMG_0886

I woke up this morning with dark clouds and pouring rain.  Is such a shame that is raining because it would have been a really nice day to go out.  Is going to be 61 degree over here in Jersey today.  I guess we just have to let mother nature do their thing.  Water the planet i guess.

My detox didn’t go so well.  The first day i went on.  I didn’t feel much different. Just another regular day.  But the second day made me kind of sick.  So i stop it after the second day.  Maybe is just me.  My body is weaker than most people.  I really heard good outcome from my friends who really went through the whole seven days of detox.  They said they felt lighter, healthier.

Went to visit Papa Bear’s friends who he haven’t seen for awhile.  We went out to have lunch.  I know hibachi is not the newest thing.  But is definitely my first time.  It was fun watching and the food was pretty good.  Will mostly try it again.

Maybelline Gel Eyeliner

999LDG_xl

I love buying new makeup products just to try it out. The newest product i am so loving is the gel eyeliner by Maybelline.  The color is very intense.  Is really smudge proof and water proof. ( I took a shower without taking off the eyeliner and came out looking like how i went in.)  And the brush that it comes with is really fine so you could draw the finest line without messing up.  I would give this product a 4 star out of 5.  My advise is that you MUST use makeup remover to remove the gel.

Popcorn Toxic !?!?

popcorn

I always thought that popcorn was one of the healthier snack.  Is light and fluffy.  Even Sophia has gotten to love it as much as i do.  She get so excited about me  opening up a freshly warm popcorn.  What i didn’t know is that i was giving her toxic.  According to couple of sources i been reading about online and newspaper. ( They are talking about the popcorn that are being popped in microwaves. )

This is just one of the site i read about the toxic in popcorn.

Oprah.com

“You tug at the corners of a piping-hot bag of microwave popcorn, and a plume of fragrant steam escapes. We hate to point this out, but that steam contains nearly four dozen chemicals—the sources include the buttery flavorings and the ink and glue on the bags—according to a new report from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. While it’s unclear how many of the chemicals may be harmful at the levels emitted, one is a known troublemaker.”
